Nash Stanley and The Gaspé Twang began playing in the Fall of 2015. Their first gig was for Gaspé Elementary School’s Terry Fox Run. Since then, they’ve played together at lunch-time jams at the Polyvalent in Gaspé and various community events and fundraisers. 16-year old Nash started singing and playing two years ago and since then, has been impressing crowds around Gaspé and Barachois with his deep, Waylon-like voice and endless repertoire of memorized songs. Don Barclay (guitar, vocals) and Glenn Patterson (fiddle) bring their instrumental skills to add some extra twang to Nash’s vocals. They play 60s and 70s country, the occasional folk song, and a few fiddle tunes every set.
